Frequently asked questions
What can I expect after I submit the form?
That depends on which type of consultation you have requested. For an initial migration consultation, we may ask for some additional information or a follow-up questionnaire so we can understand your situation before deciding on next steps. For a tailored advice session, we may ask for further details about your queries so the matter can be reviewed in advance. Once ready, you will be invited to book a session with Aviram using a calendar link.
What is covered in the free consultation?
The free consultation is an initial discussion about your situation, likely prospects, and possible next steps. Informed by the initial form and, where relevant, a follow-up questionnaire, it can cover broad pathway selection, overarching options, and high-level strategy. It is useful and directional, while stopping short of detailed case-specific advice or deep analysis of complex issues.
What happens after the free consultation session?
After the session, we will usually let you know whether your matter is something we can assist with and what the best next step would be. Depending on your situation, that may involve a paid tailored advice session, a formal engagement for ongoing support, or a recommendation that you do not proceed further at this stage.
How does a tailored advice session work?
A tailored advice session is a paid consultation designed for case-specific questions and more detailed guidance. It is usually based on information provided in advance, so the session can focus on your particular circumstances, options, risks, and likely next steps. The content of the discussion depends entirely on the nature of your query, and we are qualified to provide advice on any immigration matter. In the rare event that we cannot provide advice, we will inform you and in such cases, a full refund will be provided.
What happens if I do not get all the information I need from the paid consultation?
We prepare in advance so the session can be focused and useful. However, additional facts may emerge during the discussion, or the legal issues may be complex enough to require further review. Where a question raised during the session could reasonably have been covered within the paid consultation but needs further legal or technical review, we will arrange a short follow-up at no additional charge. This is limited to matters raised during that session and does not extend to new issues introduced later.
Why do I need to pay in advance for a tailored advice session?
Tailored advice sessions are paid in advance because much of the work happens before the session. We review the information provided, consider the issues, and prepare for a discussion that is specific to your circumstances. The fee covers that preparation as well as the time spent on the call. If, before the session, it becomes clear that the matter is beyond our scope or ability to advise on, we will let you know and refund the fee in full.
